This buckle is for all you barrel racing cowgirls out there! I grew up riding and showing hunter jumpers, but I have always dreamed of competing in the rodeo. I made four of these as the awards for the first place barrel racer for Redneck Rodeos’ four rodeos throughout the year. I still have the original buckle and its now available to you! It is a bit smaller and can easily be worn while riding.
This buckle is copper, brass and nickel silver. There is an insane amount of detail in this buckle! I have hand engraved all of the intricate details on the horse, rider and barrel. Please see the images to get a better understanding of the work that has gone into this buckle. The findings (where the belt attaches to the buckle) are nickel silver. I have finished this piece with a patina that highlights the textures!
